Unveiling the Winter Holiday Part 2 Event in Pokémon Go
From December 24 to December 29, 2025, Pokémon Go players are invited to immerse themselves in the second phase of the Winter Holiday celebration. This segment of the event marks the debut of Rolycoly, the coal Pokémon, within the game world. Trainers should also keep an eye out for costumed Stantler and Dedenne, both of which will have an elevated chance of appearing as shiny forms during this period.
Enhanced Rewards and Benefits from the Winter Holiday Go Pass
The Go Pass: Winter Holiday 2025 remains active throughout this event, providing trainers with an array of valuable bonuses. Participants can earn double XP for sending gifts and receive extra items from these exchanges. Furthermore, raid battles will yield 50% more XP. Opting for the premium version of the pass unlocks even greater advantages, such as double Stardust from gifts, a reduced egg hatch distance, and an increased XP gain from catching Pokémon.
Field Research Adventures and Their Bountiful Rewards
During the event, spinning PokéStops may present various Field Research tasks. Completing these tasks offers attractive rewards, including Stardust, encounters with festive hat Pikachu or holiday attire Pikachu, holiday Psyduck, and Delibird. These challenges provide an excellent opportunity to gather resources and encounter special Pokémon.
Increased Appearances of Diverse Pokémon in the Wild
Trainers will notice an increased frequency of certain Pokémon appearing in the wild. This includes Galarian Darumaka, holiday attire Dedenne, Bergmite, Rolycoly, and Cetoddle. Additionally, community observations indicate a higher spawn rate for holiday Stantler, holiday Delibird, and Cubchoo. Notably, holiday attire Dedenne and holiday Stantler have an increased probability of being shiny in the wild.
Special Hatches from 7 km Eggs
Throughout the Winter Holiday Part 2 event, 7 km eggs collected will have a chance to hatch specific Pokémon. These include festive hat Pichu, Smoochum, holiday ribbon Cubchoo, Cryogonal, and Snom. Among these, festive hat Pichu, holiday ribbon Cubchoo, and Cryogonal have an elevated likelihood of hatching as their shiny variants.
Dynamic Changes to Raid Battle Opponents
The raid schedule will also see temporary adjustments for the event. One-star raids will feature Alolan Sandshrew, Galarian Darumaka, and Rolycoly. For more challenging encounters, three-star raids will include Galarian Mr. Mime, holiday attire Sudowoodo, and holiday attire Charjabug, offering trainers unique opportunities to capture these Pokémo
