Once these obstacles are removed, you'll encounter a grand door and a stone basin. A small pebble, found near the entrance, must be placed into this basin to activate a hidden mechanism, causing a light to emanate and the door to swing open.

The First Enigma: Traces of the Past

Inside the Spire, your journey progresses through a series of riddles. The first challenge involves a Giant Book, centrally located on a stand, which presents a cryptic message: "Even after many years have passed, the traces left behind revive forgotten tales." To solve this, locate a 'Gravestone' positioned atop a cabinet behind the book, adjacent to a painting. Deposit this item into the basin. Upon successful completion, the basin will glow, and the stand will transform into a lift, transporting you to the next level.

The Second Conundrum: Wisdom and Vision

Ascending to the next floor, a new inscription awaits in the Giant Book: "Records filled with wisdom guide us to the past, while tools that look to distant places illuminate the future." This riddle requires two distinct items. First, retrieve the 'Pen Tip' from a desk in the room directly behind your current position. Second, find the 'Telescope' situated on a table in the southwest corner of the same floor. Place both items into the basin. The lift will once again activate, signaling your progress.

This stage demands three items, all found within this small chamber. Locate and place the 'Small Map Rotator', the 'Celestial', and the 'Sundial' into the basin.
