Crafting Essentials: Bricks and Clay in Pokémon Pokopia
Mastering Construction: Your Guide to Bricks and Clay in Pokopia
The Journey to Acquiring Bricks in Pokémon Pokopia
To progress with more complex construction tasks beyond basic leaf structures in Pokémon Pokopia, players will find bricks indispensable. While the game doesn't immediately clarify their acquisition, obtaining bricks involves a straightforward process once understood. This method requires a specific raw material and the assistance of a particular type of Pokémon, seamlessly integrating into daily gameplay routines.
Transforming Squishy Clay into Bricks with Fire-Type Pokémon
The creation of bricks hinges on two key components: squishy clay and the cooperation of a Pokémon possessing the Burn specialty. Notable Pokémon that fit this criteria include Charmander, Torchic, Litwick, Growlithe, and Vulpix, among others. Given that Charmander is encountered early in the game and Torchic can be found at Bleak Beach, players can begin brick production relatively soon after securing clay.
Step-by-Step Brick Production
The process of converting clay into bricks is simple:
- Engage with your chosen Burn-specialty Pokémon.
- Select the "Look at this!" option.
- Present the squishy clay to them.
- Request that they transform it into bricks.
Each lump of squishy clay yields two bricks, and up to ten lumps can be processed simultaneously. Although the Pokémon requires a short time to fire the clay, there are no daily restrictions on how frequently you can request brick manufacturing. It's important to note that bricks are not naturally found in the environment like other resources, such as rocks.
Locating Squishy Clay in the World of Pokopia
Players can begin harvesting squishy clay after successfully completing the "Yawn up a Storm" quest, which triggers rainfall and softens the clay previously trapping Onix. By using Rock Smash on these softened blocks within the cave system, players can collect the abundant squishy clay. Additional deposits of clay can also be found within the Bleak Beach region. Furthermore, once a habitat is established for Paldean Wooper, these Pokémon, known for their Litter specialty, will periodically drop squishy clay, similar to how Combee produce honey.
